Hi, please read this Rutland Early Years newsletter - with an editorial piece about me!

Christine Nelson - Director and Lead Childcare Facilitator

"Hi, I'm Chris and this is my business that I run alongside my husband Antony. I have three grown up children Matthew (37), Richard (35) and Michael (32) and four grandchildren Freddie (8), Marley (4)  Maci (2) and Orlaith not yet 1. I have worked at many nurseries over the years but felt I could offer a more comforting environment from home. The business has gone from strength to strength and we have a great team around us with all the focus on the individual childs needs. I am qualified at NVQ Level 3, First Aid trained with much experience as a mother and grandmother too. I love what we do and enjoy working in our lovely, caring, homely environment - I look forward to meeting you and your children".

"My name is Stacey and I joined Christine's Childcare in September 2017. Before this role I worked as a care assistant for the elderly for 10 years. I love working in the care industry and I'm enjoying working with children, watching them learn and grow. I have a child of my own and another one on the way! I am a qualified first aider and I'm currently doing my NVQ Level 3 in Childcare".

"Hi, I'm Lydia. I joined Chris's childcare in October 2018. I have 4 children of my own Lucas (9), Layla (7), Marley (4) and Maci (2). I have always loved being around children and feel I fit into the role perfectly. Although I have only been at Chris's for a short space of time I have already bonded with all of the children and look forward to watching them grow. I am currently studying an NVQ Level 2 in Childcare."

"My name is Tor and I'm relatively new to Christine's Childcare.  I have 5 children of my own; Amber (13), Isabel (11), Alfie (10), Marlie (7), and Leela (2).

Before I started at Chrstine's, I was a very busy stay-at-home mummy and wife.

I come from a very large family, being the eldest of six siblings, so I've always been around children.  I love watching them grow and using their wonderful imaginations.

I am currently studying for my NVQ Level 2 in Childcare"

"Hi I'm Lindsey, I joined Chris's team in October 2018. I'm a mum of two boys; Zachary and Dougie! I have a BTEC Level 3 in childcare and first aid training. I have worked in different childcare settings for over 10 years after college, and now, after a short break from childcare I'm delighted to be back working with the children in such a lovely, warm, friendly and family ran business. I enjoy helping the children grow, learn and watching them discover their own personalities".

Tony Nelson - Director

"Hello, I'm Tony and I help to run the business. I control all the procurement needs for our growing business as well as being the early morning welcome for our early starters. I was in the Army when I left school at 14, ending up in the Parachute Regiment of which I am very proud to have represented my country. I am a proud Englishman and a massive football fan of my country and my  Leicester City. I have owned my own successful businesses in the past in home entertainment before moving on to work for a cinema seating firm as a project manager. Like Christine has already mentioned we have 3 grown up children and 4 grandchildren. I look forward to meeting you and discussing your childs needs".
