Dear Sue My youngest son joined Chris and Tony's baby room shortly after his first birthday and has now progressed to their pre school room. They have been fantastic with him from the start - he was walking and climbing confidently by the time he joined their setting so encouraging him to enjoy movement in their outdoor space has been so beneficial. He took a while to settle at drop off - possibly as a result of months of covid restrictions - and Chris and Tony's team have been so good at reassuring us parents and supporting him to develop his confidence. My son made great progress in the toddler room and was well supported in developing friendships and learning to play with others. He is a very full on, hyper active child with a strong sense of humour and the staff have all been amazing at encouraging his language development and social skills, whilst never leaving me feeling he was causing any issues for them. Now in pre school he has taken a little while to adjust to the new room. Staff have been a great support with potty training (we're on day 6 today) and in reassuring me about some of his more hyper behaviours. He is hyper focused on dinosaurs at the moment so the team have quickly adapted planned sessions to include dinosaurs to encourage his involvement which is brilliant. I have been so impressed with Chris's Childcare, they are incredibly caring and supportive and my little boy is thriving in their setting. I am so pleased we found them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to another family. Yours Sincerely

Thank you so much all your help over the last few years. From 7 months old until 4 years old, you have looked after Leo and contributed to him growing into such a beautiful polite little boy. Everyday you have showed him nothing but love and you have taught him how to be independant and shaped him into the gorgeous boy he is today. Without the help and support from you I dont think this would have been possible. Thank you so much - we are going to miss you.

Chris's Childcare is absolutely fantastic. My Little boy has been there from 5 months and he's 3 and a half now. He loves it and adores it.

I was really nervous when I was returning to work after having Maddie & hadn't used a childminding service before but as she was so young I wanted that more individual, personalised care rather than lots of children in a nursery. Chris was brilliant at putting me at ease & Maddie became part of her family so easily who she was really fond of. Maddie really blossomed under Chris's care and developed into a confident little girl ready for school. Chris was really flexible if I needed extra hours or running late. Great location, great price, excellent quality & fantastic childminder!

Both my children are looked after by the fantastic team at Christine's Childcare. Tony and the team couldn't be more accommodating and look after our children to the highest standard. I recommend them to anyone who asks.

If you are looking for a childminder who treats your child like they're family then Chris's Childcare is the place. Chris was recommended to me by so many other people and after visiting for the first time I just knew my daughter would love it there. They have age specific rooms and provide a learning environment that encourages emotional, social and physical development using age appraoproate tasks. The staff are amazing, helpful, supportive and friendly, and you can see within their interactions they really care for the children. I would highly recommend Chris to anyone I know who needs affordable and excellent childcare. My daughter loves being there and has flourished by going. I have been using Chris’s childcare for the last five years and can honestly say in those five years they have been outstanding. They are always very accommodating at last minute changes to hours and days and nothing is ever too much trouble. I am always at ease when dropping off my children at this setting as I know they are exceptionally well looked after. Hi sue My name is Rachel lyons Iv used Christine Nelson’s child care for over 10years. When my son started it was just Christine, Iv watched the business grow into what it is today. The staff are fantastic, they all care for the children and make me as a parent feel relaxed and happy knowing they are safe and having lots of fun! Christine goes above and beyond for my children with early starts and late finishes Sometimes when I have ran late from work. Whiteout the amazing team I couldn’t do my job. Christine has also helped with the transition into school and got the pre-schoolers ready for the next stage. Absolute dream team.

My daughter has attended Christine’s Childcare for 3 years. It is her second family and she runs through that door with excitement every day. She has built very strong relationships with staff and peers. The setting has a lovely, warm and inviting culture, which was something that was really important to us when choosing a nursery. It is a safe, caring environment for all ages and staff truly know each child well- something I believe is hard to find in a setting. Every day there is a new activity or experience planned and my daughter really thrives from the variety of opportunities given in all areas of development. As an early years trained parent, I have every faith that the staff ensure my daughter is developing well and help support and challenge her where necessary. Our regular catch-ups with staff are informing and reassuring. Communication from Chris and Tony is also great. If I ever have any questions outside of nursery hours, they always respond with kindness and understanding. Christine’s Childcare go above and beyond to make sure each child is happy and thriving and we will be very sad, but ever grateful, when our daughter moves on to start school next year. Although, we do hope to continue to send our daughter before and after school here next year because we know the environment will be one where she can feel at home after such a big transition.

Good evening My 2 year old daughter attends Chris' Childcare and is really happy with them. My daughter was unfortunate enough to be born during lockdown so was unable to socialise early on, Chris and her team have been amazing with her and brought her out of her shell, and she is so happy to go to them. The whole team have helped my daughter develop her character and broaden her vocabulary and helped her to be around others without being overwhelmed. I really am so glad we found them and would recommend them in a heartbeat to other parents looking for a home from home.

Good evening, I’d like to share my experience of sending my 2 youngest children to Chris’s Chilcare over the past 3 years. I cannot recommend Chris’s Childcare highly enough. I have 3 children aged 12, 5 and 2 and during that time I have used a number of different childcare settings. Chris’s is by far the best childcare provider I have found. It is a pleasure to send my children everyday knowing they will receive the highest standards of care from Chris, her husband Tony and all the ladies across the team. Both my children have built fantastic relationships with the adults and children here and as a parent I completely trust Chris and her team and feel comfortable to discuss any aspect of my child’s well-being. I know they will work with me to resolve for example a behavioural issue or to achieve a developmental milestone. When my daughter started at Chris’s she had had a negative experience at a previous setting and coupled with life after covid, she was really struggling to be away from me and our home. The warmth and love Chris and Tony showed her was wonderful and so reassuring at a time when I was very worried about her. They took the time to help her rebuild her confidence and she quickly became a carefree little girl again. Another key point that has been fantastic about Chris’s is their flexibility. As a working parent children of 3 children, Chris and Tony have always accommodated any changes I’ve needed to make to my hours whether that be a last minute change for that day, or a change to help me manage the school holidays. As a result of the activities my children participate in at Chris’s I can see the improvement in their educational and physical development, from them showing me the yoga they have been learning to learning to count and write numbers. The children have different and well thought out activities everyday. My eldest child always says how much fun it looks when we come to collect my son and the children are all in the garden, laughing and dancing to music with the bubble machine on!!
